Services | Elevation Certificate

Elevation certificates are forms issued by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for clients to obtain flood insurance. The Elevation Certificate is an important administrative tool of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). It is to be used to provide elevation information necessary to ensure compliance with community floodplain management ordinances, to determine the proper insurance premium rate, and to support a request for a Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) or Letter of Map Revision based on fill (LOMR-F).

Is my home located in the Flood Hazard Zone? You may use the FEMA Map Service Center to determine if your property is located in a flood hazard zone or simply give us a call. Flood hazard zones are geographic areas that the FEMA has defined according to varying levels of flood risk and can be depicted on communities Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM).
